A Miami native, Jorge earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law and holds a bachelor’s degree in Business and Financial Management from Florida International University. He began his legal career as an Assistant State Attorney in Monroe County, where he gained valuable courtroom experience. He later served as an Assistant Public Defender in Monroe County, further deepening his understanding of the criminal justice system and strengthening his commitment to defending the rights of the accused. Since transitioning to private practice, Jorge has built a reputation as a strategic and client-focused criminal defense attorney, representing individuals throughout the Florida Keys in matters ranging from traffic offenses to serious felonies.
